I adjusted the valves on the econo. Love when people have no concept on how to adjust the valves and have all the exhaust valves way to tight and 3 out of the 6 intake valves way to tight. Hoping this will clear up some minor issues i had on the engine.

Just noticed the simplicity of that front end and the frame rails.

If you ever wanna trade that "gasser" front axle and brake assembly, I have a fresh complete Mustang II assembly with sub-frame/complete sub-assembly, wheels and tires, rotors and calipers, steering rack (bolted in place/attached) steering shaft and column, steering wheel, and blinker assembly all set to go. Ready to bolt or weld in and go. Totally complete.

Even trade . . .

About 2 inches of bondo in the nose on the passenger side. 1/2 inch of bondo in the center. and about an inch everywhere else.

Worked on it a little more but no pics tonight due to having to go to a cub scout meeting for little man. Seeing if he likes it this year and they started the lions scout which is for kindergarten age kids.

Still think i will need to replace the headlight region on the passenger side to make me happy with it.

Did you get your steering figured out,
so you can seriously lower it ?

It looks like the stock Econoline pitman arm points down

What if you could find a steering box, that would turn
in the right direction
, with the pitman arm pointing up ?

Then once it's lowered, the drag link would be closer
to horizontal, so you wouldn't have any binding.

As soon as i get closer to that part i will look into the swapping of gear box or pitman arm and go from there.

A few steering box options here:

Take no notice of the fact that some people obviously
can't tell the difference between 6:00 and 12:00 .

Installed the new radiator today. It is a 65 mustang 3 core radiator with the mounts of the econo radiator put on. Now i have a 3 core instead of a 2 core radiator. This 144 motor will be in it till it dies, blows up grenades or i have more money to figure out everything on the mounts and such for putting the 300 six in it. Next step is cutting out the front portion of the floor and fix the lower nose section rust areas and install new metal back in for the kick up portion that attaches to the nose. If weather holds out for the week i will have more progress to report.

Dont think i will have to worry about steering once lowered. Only thing i will have to worry about is making enough room for suspension movement so it doesn't hit the frame.
