Default Possible new project...?

I'm selling almost all my stuff because I can't keep hold of the "dream" that someday I'll get to them. I never will. So it's all up for sale to make room for a new one. This one will be simple and to the point. Nuttin' fancy. Just a driver to get me out of the shop every day and night until my boys are to grown up to spend time with their crippled up pappy.

Today, I went and looked at the first Scout. It's an 80 between '63-'65, but without the IHN, that's as close as I can get.

The pro's:

1) it's complete
2) it was running a couple years ago (acording to the owner and we know how that goes)
3) it has already had the SOA swap done.
4) it's a Scout! What more sould you want?

The con's:

1) it's not our old one
2) the guy can't find the title and can't remember if he ever got one when he bought it
3) it's a four banger
4) it's not mine yet

I don't even own it at this point. I'm still looking around for an 800, 800A, or an 800B. There will be no major modification to this if I do get it. Just a driver with room and capabilities to take the whole famn damily along. No more two seaters for about 15 years or so. They just aren't practical anymore.

I understand that practical thing. Hubby just put the bench seat in place of 2 buckets in my old 62 so the 3 of us could fit now.
Hope ya get it and look forward to watching you give it that special touch :)

Just checked my work phone and had a message from Friday that the guy with the Scout will take $500.00 So go to the VR and buy my crap so I don't have anything out of pocket on this...

It's mine now. I still need to track down a title before I do ANYTHING to it though. Don't wanna get burned on that one again.

The antique junk yard next to me that's closing has a pile of IH in there. At least 2-3 of each 80's, 800's and travelalls.
